My name is Cheryl Hale. I am so thrilled to be sharing my wonderful journey of photography with you!

I have always enjoyed taking photos. I always had a camera, and was the person everyone dreaded coming around at family gatherings, "Oh, no. Here comes Cheryl again with her camera..." (eye roll). But now, I'm the one who everyone calls when they're looking for a particular person or event they want to see.

I was fortunate to have my first experience shooting dahlias at a local photography workshop, led by a world renown wildlife photographer. I took over 2,000 images in two-and-a half days. I decided I wasn't too bad at it-especially after the editing portion of the class showed me what I could do with them. Just a few tweaks, and wow...

If you had told me then that I would be starting a business centered around flowers, or even photography in general, I would have likely laughed at the idea and dismissed it as completely preposterous. Just a couple of years ago, my life was on a different trajectory, one that did not involve flowers or becoming so engrossed in photography. I had never even considered the possibility of turning the hobby into a business. The thought of it seemed crazy and outside the realm of my reality. However, as time passed, I found myself increasingly drawn to nature and the vibrant colors and intricate details of dahlias, which are not only beautiful but also represent resilience and inner strength. I began to explore the art of photography, initially as a way of documenting the beauty around me. Little did I know that this simple interest would evolve into a passion that would result in a desire to share it with others. I began to envision a business that would allow me to combine my love of nature with my growing skills in photography. This venture would not only provide me with an opportunity to express my creativity but also connect with others who share a similar appreciation for the beauty of nature and the art of photography. The idea of starting a business became less about the financial aspect and more about the joy of sharing my passion and inspiring others to see the world through a different lens. Looking back, I can hardly believe how far I have come. The journey has been filled with challenges and learning experiences, but it has also been incredibly rewarding. I now find myself excited about the prospect of building a brand that celebrates the beauty of nature and captures the essence of fleeting moments through photography. It is a dream I never knew I had, and I am grateful for the unexpected path that led me here.

Wish me luck! ;)
